A selection of things people in Germany don't understand:
-How I type so fast (This goes for pretty much every single person I've encountered in Europe. I think just non-Americans type slow?)
-If I say "mm-hmm" meaning yes, or "mm-mm" meaning no. They always say, did that mean yes or no? I just want to be lazy and keep my mouth closed but nope, they never get it.
-That washing machines don't have exact temperature marks, just cold, warm, and hot. When Stella came to visit she said, this pile goes on 30, this pile on 15, and this on 0 celcius. I told her you just press warm for everything.
-That most Americans don't have duvet covers.
-Sarcasm.
I think that is all for today.

ReplyDeleteyou have to wash your whites on HOT and your colors on COLD and your who-gives-a-shits on WARM. maybe they don't type as fast because they don't live in the internetz?
ReplyDeletei need to make a duvet cover. maybe a quilted one with leftover materials.
nah, i'll never.
but they do live in the internetz, just by 10 words per minute!
